Ty Clancey
Director Biography - Ty Clancey

An international award-winning writer/director, Ty is a graduate of SMU School of Film and Media Arts and New York Film Academy. Born and raised in Iowa, Ty’s early credits include Jimmy Kimmel Live and King of Kong: A Fistful of Quarters before earning worldwide accolades with the comedy team "Lost Nomads” featuring Josh Gad. Ty has directed two digital series for Fox; was E.P. and director of Gigi: Almost American on Hulu; wrote and directed 70 episodes of Marvel Mashup on Disney XD; was showrunner, director and Co-E.P. of mystery mini-series Cryptid on History Channel and the Brazilian adventure series Treasure Quest: Snake Island for Discovery Channel; directed the comedy series This Isn’t Working for ABCd; the immersive People of Earth VR experience at Comic-Con for TBS; the musical drama Love & Mayhem starring Logan Marshall-Green; and has recently won two Clio Gold Winner Awards (2019, 2021) as well as three Promax Golden Statues (2019, 2020). His horror short film Thank You For Staying, shot in quarantine, blazed the festival circuit with several wins in 2021.

Director Biography - Rich Varville

Rich Varville is a San Diego based filmmaker and recording artist that gained notoriety from his unique style of story-based, cinematic, music films. In addition, he produces and directs narrative, industrial, and documentary films through his company RSVP FILMS.

Originally from Colorado Springs, Colorado, he studied media production at Pikes Peak College before relocating to San Diego and studying psychology at Palomar College in San Marcos, CA. These two very different studies eventually lead to his vision of creating thought provoking films that illustrate the human condition.

Rich has written and recorded several albums, both as artist and engineer, has over 1000 live performances, and appeared as a performer in several music videos. With more than twenty five years experience working with clients and artists he has honed his skills as a writer; director; editor; and sound designer.

Nico Casavecchia
Director Biography - Nico Casavecchia

Nico Casavecchia is an Argentine Emmy nominated filmmaker based in Los Angeles. His work employs mixed media techniques ranging from animation to live action. His first feature film “Finding Sofía” debuted at the 2016 Austin Film Festival, was distributed domestically by Gunpowder & Sky / Film Buff. “BattleScar,” a virtual reality film starring Rosario Dawson, written and co-directed by Nico premiered at the Sundance Film Festival. Adi Robertson, from The Verge described the film as done with “Unusual confidence and Sophistication”. “BattleScar” was covered by Indie Wire, Screen Anarchy, Filmmaker Magazine, among other outlets. Nico is currently developing Momoguro, a multi-platform franchise he created with Martín Allais in partnership with 9x Emmy award winning studio Baobab. Nico’s films have been showcased in Wired, BBC, Indie Wire and The New York Times, and film festivals such as Sundance, Venice Film Festival, Tribeca, SXSW, as well as collecting Gold and Bronze statues in Cannes, Clio, AICP, and London LIA awards.

Susan Dynner
Director Biography - Susan Dynner

The Soul Trader

Award-winning Director/Producer/Writer Susan Dynner, a recent Sundance Stories of Change Directing Fellow, and current Blackmagic Studio Feature Directing Fellow just finished directing/producing “The Soul Trader”, a short film starring Shane West, Shauna Grace and Donna Mills. She is also currently filming her documentary about women in magic (she is a Magician Member of the Magic Castle). Dynner is gearing up to direct/produce “Fall of Eden”, a drama starring Dylan McDermott and Brianna Hildebrand. Before that, she directed/produced, “Code Blue: A Love Story” starring Andy Dick, for which she was awarded the Sony TV Directing Fellowship. She produced "Free Ride”, starring Anna Paquin (she was a Film Independent Producing Fellow), “After Porn Ends”, and she produced/directed "Punk's Not Dead", which premiered at the Cannes Film Festival, followed by a theatrical world-wide release. She also produced "Brick", winner of the Sundance Film Festival. As a Development Executive, Dynner worked for Charlie Sheen and Nick Cassavetes as a VP, and Wolfgang Petersen. Dynner began her career at Richard Donner Productions and Di Novi Pictures. Prior to that, she was a professional band photographer at age fifteen. Dynner is a founding member of GenXX, an initiative with the mission to expand opportunities for the generation of experienced, talented, vetted women directors who got lost between sexism and ageism. Aberration Films has many projects in development.
